I never intended to be a photographer. I always enjoyed photography but it wasn’t until I was travelling through beautiful Nova Scotia that I realized I wasn’t half bad at taking pictures. When I got my first digital point and shoot camera, I fell in love, but when I got my first DSLR I was instantly hooked. I found myself chasing sunsets and shooting landscapes and my vision of the world changed. I found myself noticing the beauty in things I once previously overlooked; every line, every detail; every corner and alley began to hold photographic potential. Every smile and every moment began to mean so much more. It wasn’t until my friends and family encouraged me that I decided to turn my passion into my work. Each day offers a new blessing and a new challenge and I look forward to seeing where this creative and liberating experience takes me. I really hope you enjoy the world through my lens.
